1. The agreement
OpenRevenue is operated by Egger, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 18, or the age of legal majority where you live.
2. The service
OpenRevenue provides web analytics and related tools: a tracking script, dashboards for traffic and realtime activity, visitor journeys, funnels, goals, performance (Core Web Vitals), public share pages, embeddable widgets, APIs, optional revenue attribution integrations, digests and alerts, an in-dashboard AI assistant, and an MCP connector for authorized agents.
3. Your account
- Keep your sign-in methods secure. Activity through your account, API keys, passkeys, SSO, or connected apps is treated as yours.
- Provide accurate account information and keep a reachable email for notices.
- You are responsible for people you invite and the roles you assign, including organization workspaces.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to all of the following. If a use would make our privacy commitments false for your visitors, it is outside these terms.
- Use OpenRevenue only on sites and apps you own or are authorized to measure, and comply with laws that apply to you—including notice, disclosure, and consent duties toward your visitors.
- Do not send directly identifying or sensitive visitor data in paths, event names, properties, or identify-style fields (no emails, names, precise personal locations, health data, government IDs, passwords, or card data).
- Do not probe, overload, scrape, evade rate limits, fabricate traffic, reverse engineer the service in a way that violates law, or interfere with other customers.
- Do not resell, white-label, or rebrand the service except as expressly allowed by an OpenRevenue add-on or written agreement.
5. Your data and publication surfaces
Analytics data for your projects is yours. We process it to provide the service as described in the Privacy Policy and DPA. You may export or delete project data through the product subject to technical and legal limits.
Some features publish numbers because that is their purpose: public stats links and embeddable widgets. Enabling them is your publication decision. We are not responsible for who viewed a surface while you left it published.
6. API keys, agents, and AI features
- Credentials are scoped on purpose. You are responsible for what connected apps and agents do within scopes you grant, and you should revoke access you no longer need.
- AI assistant answers are generated from your prompts and aggregate context; they can be wrong. Check them before decisions that matter. Do not paste secrets into prompts.
- Destructive account actions (billing changes, deleting projects/accounts, credential management) require an authenticated human session as designed in the product.
7. Fees, trials, and billing
- Paid plans are priced by usage tiers and features shown on the pricing and billing pages. Payment is processed by Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
- If you exceed plan limits we may notify you and require an upgrade, pause collection, or otherwise enforce limits described in the product.
- Trials, if offered, follow the terms shown at signup and in billing. Cancel before the trial converts if you do not want to be charged.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes apply from the next billing period unless law requires otherwise.
8. Cancelling and deleting
You may cancel a subscription, delete projects, or delete your account from the product where those controls exist. Cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the product states otherwise. Deletion of projects or accounts removes associated data according to our retention and backup practices and is generally irreversible.
9. Suspension and termination by us
We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms, creates legal or security risk, abuses the service, or harms other customers. Where practical we will warn you first. Data handling after suspension or termination follows the Privacy Policy and DPA.
10. Changes to the service
We will keep evolving the product. Features may be added, changed, or retired. We aim for continuous availability but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Support is available via support@openrevenue.com.
11. Intellectual property
The OpenRevenue service, software, and marks remain ours. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service—including placing the tracking script and allowed widgets on your sites—while your account is in good standing. Feedback you send may be used without obligation. Your site content and analytics data remain yours as described above.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Analytics involves estimation; we work on accuracy but do not warrant that every event is captured or that any number is error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for claims arising out of the service is capped at the amounts you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
14. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your sites, your content, or your use of the service in breach of these terms, including claims that your measurement of visitors violated a law that applies to you. We will defend and indemnify you against third-party claims that the OpenRevenue service itself, used as documented, infringes their intellectual property.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally belong in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer or data-protection rules in your country give you non-waivable rights to local courts or authorities.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product and law evolve. For material changes we will give reasonable notice by email or in the dashboard when practical. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance. If you do not agree, cancel and stop using the service before the change takes effect.
